Biography

The Packxsz has been making some noise as of recent.

Born in The Netherlands, The Packxsz started DJ-ing and experimenting with drum computers and samplers back in 1997. He joined Hip Hop group FATA as their DJ and Beat Creator in 1999. FATA became a well known act in the Dutch Hip Hop Scene, highlighting several competitions like the prestige ‘De Grote Prijs van Nederland’. The Packxsz left the group by the end of 2004 to focus on his work as a Producer and DJ.

In the following years he released several EP’s and received critical acclaim for his production of the Underground-hits ‘Smoke met me’ by FATA (2007) and ‘Visie’ by Eredivisie (2011). From behind the turntables he supported international acts like Big Daddy Kane, Arrested Development, Delinquent Habits, Everlast (House of Pain), Amp Fiddler and EPMD.

This early success proved to be baby steps. Greater success came with his ability to reimagine records in the form of remixing. In 2012 The Packxsz received a phone call regarding a remix assignment for Ryan Leslie’s artist Uness. Soon after that official remixes followed for the legendary Joyce Sims, Glenn Lewis, Mýa, Bridget Kelly and Raja Nee’. The Packxsz also collaborated with personal idol Rapper Big Pooh from Hip Hop group Little Brother on his 2014 remix of Faye B’s “Any Other Way”.

Most recent The Packxsz produced a string of bootleg remixes. Two of which earned him a spot in the Top 10 of The Official BCFM Soul Charts (2024). His nostalgic rework of Dwele's "I Think I Love U" became a number 1 hit on Soulbox in June 2025.

The Packxsz isn't your typical DJ either.

Everyone who ever attended a party with The Packxsz as DJ knows, he is a funky sensation behind the turntables. While many DJ's choose to spin hit after hit, The Packxsz chooses to vary his hits with the records that you need to hear. He takes you on an adventure. It's a feeling.
